SPARX Alaska is designed with the understanding that health-care students and professionals lead busy and demanding lives, and have numerous time constraints. This program is set up to accommodate their busy schedules.
Students earn points based on participation in the program; for example attendance at a seminar earns 10 points, participation in a program earns 40 points, and developing and running the program for a year’s duration will earn 80 points. A student who earns 100 points in a year will be awarded a certificate of recognition.
A copy of the certificate with an accompanying letter will be sent to the appropriate Dean(s) or Director(s), making participation an achievement that can be entered into the student’s academic record.
