MINI MEDICAL SCHOOL
Alaska WWAMI coordinates the production of the yearly Mini Medical School -- a collaboration between Alaska WWAMI, various Alaskan physicians and health-care providers, and the University of Washington School of Medicine.
Open to the public, the Mini Medical School lecture series offers topics from the world of medicine that are of interest to all Alaskans. The lectures are presented each year on Tuesday evenings in October; the location alternates yearly between Anchorage and Fairbanks, and videoconference technology allows participation in other locations.
