The Alaska WWAMI Program Thanks Alaska's Health Professionals!
The Alaska WWAMI Program is experiencing an exciting phase of growth and development. The success of the effort to increase the Alaska WWAMI class size has in large part resulted from the help and cooperation of Alaska's statewide medical community.
Alaska WWAMI greatly values the efforts of the many healthcare professionals who have participated in myriad ways – from simply allowing pre-medical students to shadow them for an afternoon, to those who have provided countless lectures to medical students, to those who have mentored medical students in clinical clerkships. Without these efforts, the Alaska WWAMI Program would not be able to provide three years of medical education in Alaska!
