Current high school juniors and seniors who meet one or more of the following criteria are eligible to apply for the program:

There is no cost to participants in the program, and dormitory housing is provided at no charge. A small stipend is provided to help cover food and miscellaneous expenses of participating in this program.

The North Star  project is a part of the Della Keats/U-DOC Program. The North Star project is a program of the Imaginarium which seeks to increase the number of Alaskan students that pursue health sciences in college and in their careers. To do that, it will work with participants in the Della Keats/U-DOC Program at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
